A:  No; walk-ins are always welcome at our AFC Urgent Care center where you will be seen by a board-certified physician with minimal wait times.

Q: What kinds of illnesses/injuries do you treat?

A: We provide walk-in extended-hour access to medical care for acute illnesses and injuries ranging from cuts to bruises, sprains to fractures, coughs to colds, and much more.

Q:  What services are offered on-site?

A: Our AFC Urgent Care center offers a comprehensive suite of on-site medical services including full-scope digital x-rays, on-site laboratories, and prescription medication dispensation.

Q: What kind of doctor will treat me?

A:  At AFC Urgent Care, all patients are seen and treated by board-certified physicians who are passionate about the practice of medicine.  Visit our physicians biographies to learn more.

Q:  What are your hours of operation?

A:  Our center is open 7 days a week from 8am to 8pm on weekdays and 8am to 5pm on weekends.

Q:  Where are you located?

A: We are located at 907 Oak Tree Avenue in South Plainfield at the intersection of Park Avenue next to the Acme (formerly the Super A&P) in the Oak Park Commons Plaza.

Q:  What insurance plans do you accept?

A:  We accept most major insurance plans.

Q: Do you accept insurance plans introduced in New Jersey under the Affordable Care Act (ACA)?

A: Yes.

Q:  How much does it cost for patients without insurance?

A:  Pricing varies based on the complexity of the patient’s medical issue.  All our rates are deeply discounted for self-pay patients.
